Georgie Girl -- WINNER of the 2017 Historic Gettysburg-Adams County Restoration Award
Is a classic Georgian style home in downtown Gettysburg, PA that received a full restoration by Sharrah Restoration & Construction Design, LLC and Mark Austin Building and Remodeling. As is normal with a house this age, there have been many changes over the years. Our hope was to bring the old girl back to her former glory while saving all the original detail possible and still making it a perfect home for the modern family. We more than accomplished that.
1841 Farm House WINNER of the 2015 Historic Gettysburg-Adams County Restoration Award
Not only a home, but a work of art from the past - brought to life in the present. Beside the house, the old garage was removed and a carriage house was built containing a great room, upstairs bunkies and bath. The existing barn was completely restored, also.
Appalachian Brewing Company - Battlefield -
Sharrah Restoration & Construction Design was involved from start to finish of Appalachian Brewing Company's- "Battlefield" newest brewpub located on Steinwehr Ave. in Gettysburg, PA. Along with Mark Austin Building and Tono Group the building went from an empty lot to an award winning, often visited favorite restaurant for tourists and locals alike. The Team won the "2016 Borough of Gettysburg Certificate of Exceptional Merit for New Construction." We don't do this work for awards...but they sure are nice!!
